10K in 66:28 to
the restaurant named in the post title above but still waiting for a table and need to work so may not be able to stay. Bummed out! Nice run though with coolish temperatures to start and then it felt hot when not in the shade. Tomorrow is the
Father's Day walk for prostate cancer research and this year it is chip times with a special bib.

It's also at Ashbridge's Bay instead of in the more industrial port area off the Distillery where I recall doing it a couple of years back.
Meanwhile I seem to have lost some posts sent in by email (and this one didn't take either, when sent in about five hours ago, until I re-did it on my Desktop):
Wednesday:
5K at a Pace of 11 Minute MilesAfter Sunday's long run I felt fine for awhile and then the left ankle/Achilles started to act up and I turned quickly to Mobicox for 36 hours. It has settled down so I decided on a short run today at a very slow pace but at least I got in 34 minutes and am now icing for prevention. Not sure if I need another Mobicox but maybe an Advil wouldn't hurt.
And last Sunday:
90 Minutes in Perfect Cool ConditionsI started really slowly but headed out determined to stretch last week's long run a bit further. Again we ended up at Fresh but with a longer route it was 8.30 miles in 1:30:20 with an average HR of 141 and a maximum of only 157. A half is in sight at this rate. But don't want to jinx myself.
