Walk, Not Run
My toe is still bothering me so I have been getting in some decent walks at a stroll like pace but not running-always better to respect the injury. I now am thinking that it really is the time to eat better, meaning reducing refined sugars and starches, and to get in more mindfulness meditation. New Year`s resolution!

Over the Hollywood Bridge
For a rare treat I crossed west over the Hollywood Boulevard bridge and then went along the intracoastal to the marina. I think I saved myself a strong wind heading back to our place.

Sore 5K
I had a tough training session yesterday with heavier than normal weights including a kettle ball pendulum move. It felt good to loosen up with a run and it was quite mild.

Four Miles
I had to stop a couple of times to stretch but I made it up most of the Hoggs Hollow hill. I stopped to stretch towards the top and then ran the rest of the distance to 4 miles. Now have a bit of a walk home via Starbucks.

Crisp 5K
It was cold but the winds died down so I took it easy and got in a short run. I already do two hour-long training sessions yesterday and Monday.

Hoggs Hollow
I don't think I ran any more of it than I did last time, but it still was a good idea to do the route. The annual Egg Nog Jog this two weeks from today and that has a killer hill!
